Initial Meeting and Predesign
Pre-Design meeting is an important element for a successful project.
Several objectives can be achieved through the use of such meeting, including but not limited to:
-Having an extensive discussion with the client covering their needs,design theme,desires, preferences, likes and dislikes.
-Based on above mentioned discussion , we create a list of finishes,appliances,materials,counter-tops,back-splash,lighting,hardware,and preliminary details from which the design can be created.
-An improved initial design expressed by freehand 3D sketches including all aspects of the project,said sketches will be generated in few minutes during the initial meeting.
-Laying out an estimated budget.
Design Development
& Construction Documents
After proposal approval and receiving required design retainer, Neff of Short Hills team develops plans,elevations, sections, and other related details to a high level of finish;refines colors and finishes; selects any purchased furniture, fixtures, and equipment; and prepares a cost estimate and budget for
construction if requested by our client. The resulting design is presented to the client for review, revision, and final approval.
Right after design approval we start the preparation of construction documents (including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details) and the architectural specifications package including plumbing and electrical diagrams.
Construction, Installation
and Project Completion
Every project is unique, regardless if we manage and execute the construction and room preparations or work with our client's local construction team. We still dedicate ourselves to a complete follow-up with final room measurements, plumbing locations, electrical needs, ceiling and floor design. We will arrange several job-site meetings to discuss any problems and to ensure our design and planing is being adhered to.
On delivery day, this is where the vision becomes reality. Our experienced and certified installers will be at the job-site ready to install your project from beginning to end. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority.
After completion of installation, we will have a final walk-through with our client and prepare a list of any remaining small items needing attention. We also discuss the care and maintenance of all your new finishes, furnishings and equipment so you can enjoy them for many years to come and maintain their new appearance.
